Adobe Acrobat X Standard - Is It Worth the Hype?

If your job requires you to edit a lot of documents especially PDF files, then you really need to get Adobe Acrobat X Standard. As you probably know Adobe is the number one format for PDF files, in fact they basically invented the format.

It is also common knowledge that the full Adobe Acrobat software is quite expensive and only businesses usually buys it. But what benefits can you get if you get one for yourself. Lets enumerate the pros about having your own copy.

First benefit is having the full power of Adobe Acrobat at your fingertips. You can now edit, change, revamp and do whatever you want to PDF files and you can also convert them to any file type you want. Now you just go in and edit something, save it and send it to anyone you want.

Another benefit of having the software is that you have access to hundreds of different editing materials that Adobe installed in the software. You can now even add videos and pictures to your files.
I was a document analysis and contract reader before and I was only using the free version of Adobe PDF reader and it was so hard read and copy and make annotations on a different page or in Word, because I can’t edit the file.

So I saved up some money got an OEM version of Adobe AcrobatX Standard and downloaded the software. I got the OEM version from a site called Software Speedy. OEM is basically the same software but without the fancy packaging. Its half the price of the original, I think you can live without the fancy packaging and branding if its half the price.

So if you really want to have Adobe Acrobat and do not have enough budget for it, just go for the OEM version, it’s the same thing except the price of course.
